Sky has slowly been expanding its Android support for the ‘Sky Go’ app in the UK, allowing for streaming of live sports and TV/film to mobile devices. Sky already supports a number of Sony Xperia devices including the Xperia S, Xperia T, Xperia Z and Xperia SP.
It has now added support for three more recent Sony handsets including the Xperia Z1, Xperia Z Ultra and even the entry-level Xperia M. Be warned though, to get the app to work you will need to be unrooted and running an official Sony firmware build. If your handset has a custom ROM, Sky Go will not work. The latest download is available right now through the Play Store.
