Xperia ZLSony is rolling out a new firmware update with build version 10.4.1.B.0.101 for the Xperia Z, Xperia ZL and Xperia ZR. The Sony Xperia Tablet Z will also get the same update next week. This firmware remains Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, so don’t get your hopes up on KitKat just yet. The firmware follows on from the first Android 4.3 update with build number 10.4.B.0.569.

According to the changelog, the update brings an enhanced user experience, an improved battery life and software performance improvements. This includes better Bluetooth connectivity and YouTube app improvements. So far there is a very limited rollout, we only know of the Singapore Xperia ZL (C6503) where the firmware is rolling, however it can’t be too long before it hits other devices and regions. If you get hold of the update, please includes some pictures and impressions in the comments below.

Thanks DIMEX and levered!
