Sony Mobile is scheduling a press event in Jakarta, Indonesia on 5 March 2014. Invites were sent out to the local media with the tagline “Life is an incredible journey. Discover how with us on 5 March 2014!”
As the invite shows a couple of people jumping into the sea, it could indicate a brand new water-resistant Sony Xperia smartphone. It could also just see the regional launch of the Xperia Z1 Compact. As the event comes just 10 days or so after Sony Mobile’s MWC event, it will most likely be used to showcase whatever Sony announces at MWC.
