Xperia T, Xperia TX and Xperia V Android 4.3 update expected today [Update]

Xperia TSony Mobile will today be releasing the Android 4.3 firmware update for the Xperia T, Xperia TX and Xperia V, if their product pages are anything to go by. All three support pages now list firmware build 9.2.A.0.295 as the “latest available software” with today’s release date. Our check on the servers shows that the new firmware doesn’t appear to be live just now, but it could appear at any point today.

The updated product pages lists the Android 4.3 changelog. The list looks largely the same as the Xperia SP apart from one major mission – it appears the Xperia T/TX/V users will not be getting the Sony’s Smart Social Camera and downloadable camera apps. If this turns out to be the case, will it bother you? Or will you just be happy to see Android 4.3 on your handset?

Update: Sony confirms Android 4.3 is rolling today for Xperia T, TX and V owners. No mention of the Sony social camera, so it’s probably not happening. Xperia Themse are confirmed though.

Update 2: We can confirm that the update is hitting Sony’s servers now, at least for the Xperia T.
