The Sony Xperia Z1 Compact is now available to buy in Australia via carrier Telstra. The handset can be ordered online and is available in stores from today. If you order online by the 31 March you will also get a free Sony DR-BTN200B Bluetooth headset. The Xperia Z1 Compact is available on contracts starting at A$63 per month and outright for A$552 (£302, €361, $501), one of the cheapest prices we have seen globally.
Telstra is offering the handset in three colours (black, pink and white) – the popular lime option is not offered. Telstra has a 60-day exclusivity on the Xperia Z1 Compact in Australia, so if you don’t want to wait for Sony to sell it directly head over to Telstra now.
