The Sony Xperia Z2 is now in stock across most UK carriers from today. Some of these carriers started a very limited batch of shipments in the middle of April, but these were only for customers who had pre-ordered. We checked the stock situation at EE, O2 (which has exclusivity on the purple colour), Three and Vodafone and all were showing the handset in stock on their website with delivery for tomorrow.
Carphone Warehouse and Phones4U also have stock of the handset, with CPW selling the SIM-free version for £549.95, whilst Phones4U has it for £539.95. Other UK retailers such as Clove and Handtec have confirmed that they expect to start shipments on 9 May 2014. Amazon UK still does not have a launch date for its Xperia Z2 listing, but it should start shipping by the middle of May. The Sony Mobile store also still has the handset on pre-order, although it expects deliveries from early May.
