At the start of the month, Sony Mobile’s official social channel inadvertently revealed an image showing a Verizon branded Xperia Z2. The image showed the front of the handset, with the Verizon logo on top and Sony logo at the bottom. Sony quickly pulled the image and reiterated that the handset would be available in the US in its unlocked form during the summer.
Well now another Verizon Xperia Z2 has been outed via official Sony channels, this time it comes from Sony Korea’s official microsite for the handset. The image below, taken from that page, shows the back of the handset with a Verizon logo on the back, along with the 4G LTE symbol underneath. Whether or not we see the Xperia Z2 on Verizon in the future, it looks like Sony got very close to making it happen.
