Hong Kong will be the first region to take delivery of the Sony Xperia T3, when it launches next week. The Hong Kong launch date has been set for Monday 14 July 2014 with official pricing at HK$ 2,998 (£226, €284, $387). All three colours will be available on launch day (black, purple and white). We’ve seen no sign of it appearing on European shores just yet, but will keep you posted.
The Xperia T3 has a steel frame and measures just 7mm in thickness, weighing 148g. Sony says it is the world’s thinnest 5.3-inch smart phone. Specs include a 5.3-inch 720p IPS display, 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 chipset, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, LTE support, 2500mAh sealed battery and 8MP Exmor RS camera.
