New Album update (6.2.A.0.22) allows you to share online content; adds small UI tweaks

Sony has updated the Album application for Xperia devices moving the build number from version 6.1.A.0.14 to 6.2.A.0.22. The new update brings colour icons to the pull-out navigation menu, bringing it in line with other Sony apps.

The other main change is the ability to share online content and you now get the option to choose which online services appear in your navigation menu (Facebook, Picasa and Flickr). Prior to this, all three services were stuck in your menu even if you don’t use Facebook, for example.

For some reason, we couldn’t appear to connect to the PlayMemories service in this version. We’re not sure if this is a wide-spread problem, but let us know how you are getting on with the update in the comments below.
