in Xperia Z2

Xperia Z2_D6503_Sony Store US_2The unlocked Xperia Z2 is now available to order in the United States through the Sony Store website. The Xperia Z2 is being sold for $699.99, but the handset is currently back-ordered with an unknown ship date. We imagine Sony is just working through a few gremlins and that the Xperia Z2 will begin shipping very shortly.

The Xperia Z2 being sold is the international LTE model (D6503) which supports LTE bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 13, 17, 20. This makes it ideal to use with either AT&T and T-Mobile. It’s great to see the handset finally available in the US, despite not seeing any carrier support. There were rumours that Verizon might pick up the Xperia Z2, but that’s looking increasingly unlikely now.
