New pictures of the upcoming Xperia Z3 have leaked, showing a design that is consistent with the previous leaked images we have seen. The pictures come courtesy of @evleaks who yesterday revealed a spec-sheet that is very similar to that of the Xperia Z2. This includes a Snapdragon 801 chipset, 5.15-inch 1080p display, 3GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, a 20.7MP Exmor RS rear camera and a 2.1MP front-facing camera.
The pictures tie with the previous Xperia Z3 leaks, although it seems that the design here is more refined and probably of a more recent prototype. The dedicated camera button, for example, appears to be longer than from the earlier leaks.
The images also give a better look at the rounded side edges that Sony is adopting with the Xperia Z3. The power button is also quite large, or looking at it the other way, the chassis might be much thinner than the Xperia Z2. The image of the back device isn’t clear enough to get a good sense of what material is being used, but perhaps this will become clearer as the Xperia Z3 leaks intensify closer to announcement day.
