US Sony Xperia fans may be glad to hear that you can now order the Xperia Z3 directly from the Sony Store. The website has just listed the handset for $679.99 with an estimated ship date of 10 November. This is the global D6603 variant of the Xperia Z3 which brings LTE support with the following bands: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 13, 17 and 20.
All four colours are available to order (Black, White, Silver Green and Copper). Seems like a great option if you didn’t want to be tied down to a carrier such as T-Mobile with the Xperia Z3 or Verizon Wireless with the Xperia Z3v. Obviously, one advantage from buying direct from the Sony Store is that these models will have a bootloader that can be unlocked. Anyone looking to bite?
