Sony’s CES 2015 press conference last night had very little new content on the mobile side of things, however we did get confirmation of when the Android 5.0 Lollipop software rollout commences for the Xperia Z series.
Mike Fasulo, President and COO of Sony Electronics, went on stage to confirm that that the rollout will start with the Xperia Z3 globally from next month. Up until now, Sony only confirmed an “early 2015” launch for the update. The update will start with the Xperia Z3 and Z2 series and will hit the entire Xperia Z range over time. We’ll bring you more news as we have it.
