Music Unlimited to be replaced by Spotify-powered PlayStation Music

PlayStation MusicSony has announced that it will be closing its Music Unlimited service and will instead launch PlayStation Music with Spotify. Users will be able to link their PlayStation Network accounts with Spotify. The Music Unlimited service will close on 29 March 2015.

PlayStation Music (PS Music) will launch this spring on Xperia smartphones/tablets and the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 across 41 regions around the world. As part of the process, Sony will also be rebranding Video Unlimited to PlayStation Video (PS Video).
