Live pictures of what is believed to be the Xperia E4 (E2105, E2115) surfaced late last year, so there is a good idea of what to expect. However, now a couple of renders have leaked that show a design very similar to what we have seen previously. The renders look like they are for cases of the handset, although each do differ slightly.
One render doesn’t show the Sony logo, whilst the other appears to have a larger bezel. Other than that, the design appears to be very similar to the leaked handset we saw last year. It has the same front-facing camera/proximity sensor/headphone placement and the same bottom speaker (could we see dual speakers in this handset?)
Rumoured specifications for the Xperia E4 include a 5-inch qHD (540 x 960) display and MediaTek MT6582 chipset with 1.3GHz quad-core processor and Mali-400 MP4 GPU. Other features include 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, a 5MP camera and 1.9 MP front-facing camera. These specs have broadly been confirmed by a retail listing for the Xperia E1 II (most likely a codename for the Xperia E4) on PhoneHouse.es.
