Looks like the ‘Xperia Z3 Neo’ rumours were wrong as Sony Japan has quietly unveiled the Xperia Z4. The handset is no different to the one that has been heavily rumoured over recent weeks and months. The design is very similar to the Xperia Z3, although it adopts the stereo speaker positioning of the Xperia Z2 towards the edge of the top and bottom. The handset will launch in four colours (black, white, copper and aqua green) later this summer. No word of an international launch so far.
Changes from the Sony Xperia Z4 include a slightly thinner chassis with a thickness of 6.9mm (146 × 72 × 6.9 mm) and a 5MP front-facing camera with 25mm wide angle. It also comes with a Snapdragon 810 chipset, 32GB internal storage and 3GB RAM. The Xperia Z4 keeps the 5.2-inch 1080p display and has a weight of 144 grams and 2930 mAh battery capacity.
