The Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet was due to launch at the end of this month in the UK, however it looks like deliveries have been delayed by a week with the tablet now due to be dispatched on 5 June 2015. What is odd though is that given how close we are to launch, Sony UK has removed the ability for new customers to pre-order the upcoming flagship tablet on the Sony Mobile Store.
Earlier in the week, pre-orders for the Wi-Fi variant vanished and the same has now happened for the LTE variant. There is no ‘Sold Out’ message – the entire pre-order placeholder has disappeared. We’re not sure if Sony is facing stock shortages, or whether other issues are at hand, but we’ve reached out to Sony for a comment and will update this post if we hear back.
Update (3 June 2015): Without any explanation, pre-orders are once again live in the UK.
