Who says that the Sony Xperia Z3+/Z4 camera is no different to the Xperia Z2 or Z3? Camera specialists DxOMark have rated the Xperia Z3+ as having the best Sony Xperia camera yet with a score of 82 (both the Xperia Z2 and Z3 have a score of 79). This score puts the Xperia Z3+ into joint third position, along with the Apple iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. The Samsung S6 Edge and Galaxy Note 4 take the number one and two positions respectively.
On the camera side, the Xperia Z3+ was found to have fast autofocus and good overall exposure, white balance and detail preservation. However, on the negative side, colour shading was visible outdoors along with slight colour fringing and ringing noticeable. On the video side, the Xperia Z3+ was praised for its stabilisation although autofocus was slow in testing. Check out the source for the full report.
