Bell gets Xperia Z5 exclusivity in Canada; launches on 29 October

Bell Canada has announced earlier today that it will carry exclusive rights for the Sony Xperia Z5 when it launches in Canada on 29 October 2015. The Bell product page confirms that it will be selling both the black and white variants (no green or gold unfortunately) with contract pricing starting at C$199.95 upfront for a two-year term. The handset will also be available for C$649.95 off-contract.

It is unclear whether the Xperia Z5 will be a timed exclusive for Bell or not, time will tell on that front. It may also be difficult to source an unlocked model in Canada given the recent closure of Sony’s online and retail presence in the region. There is currently no official word on plans for the Xperia Z5 Compact or Premium in the Canadian market, we’ll keep you posted on that front.
