Sony Mobile may be planning to launch a 2016 successor to the ‘C’ series, which typically includes a front-facing flash, according to leaked pictures. The handset below is said to have a 6-inch display with large front-facing camera and flash – it could end up launching as the Xperia C6 if it makes it to market.
The design appears to be a cross between last year’s Xperia C5 Ultra and the upcoming Xperia XA. Apparently, the handset is currently in testing and will have minimal side bezels and dual SIM card support. It is expected to be powered by a MediaTek chipset. If this phone does come to the market, we’re not really sure why Sony just didn’t slap a front-facing flash on the Xperia XA instead. However, there’s no guarantee that it will ever see the light of day.
