Sony Mobile has today officially launched the Xperia Z5 Premium Pink, just as we had expected following on from our report yesterday. The new colour follows the design of the Chrome version with a mirror effect on the rear, rather than the matte finish on the Black and Gold models.
There is no word on exactly which markets the Xperia Z5 Premium Pink will launch into, but an Asian launch seems a given (Mainland Taiwan, Hong Kong and Taiwan). We look forward to seeing some hands-on pictures, but from the render below, it looks like the Xperia Z5 Premium Pink will be an attractive option. What do you think of the new colour?

Update: Sony has confirmed that the Xperia Z5 Premium Pink will be available from early May in select countries. The designer, Murai-san had this to say on the new colour: “The colour was first created for Xperia Z5 Pink and the hue also lent itself well to the finish of the Z5 Premium. As with other Z5 Premium devices we wanted to give an expression of light, so we adapted the colour to the Z5 Premium’s materials, the result is a deeper, rich tone due to its glossy finish – the perfect complement to its Premium name tag.”
Thanks Fahim and Jan!
