Sony expands Marshmallow rollout to Xperia Z3 Dual, Xperia Z2 Tablet and other Z2/Z3 variants

Sony Mobile commenced the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow firmware rollout for the Xperia Z2 and Z3 range earlier this month. However, at the time, Sony had only made the firmware live for those device variants that were involved in the Beta Marshmallow program. This included one variant each for the Xperia Z2 (D6503), Z3 (D6603) and Z3 Compact (D5803).

Sony Mobile has now expanded the Marshmallow rollout (firmware build number 23.5.A.0.570) for more Xperia Z2/Z3 variants. The update is now rolling to the Xperia Z3 Dual, Xperia Z2 HSPA+ model (D6502) and the Xperia Z2 Tablet. You can see a full list of the variants that have the update today below (in red) – we will include FTF firmware links as usual in due course too.
