Sony Mobile has released a new firmware update for Xperia X Nougat Concept users in the form of build number 38.3.A.0.66. This latest update adds a new feature called “Night Light”, which is similar to what apps like Twilight do.

When switched on through the display settings, “Night Light” will tint your screen a pink-ish amber colour during night time, which is meant to make your phone easier to read at night and help you to sleep better as it reduces exposure to blue light. The settings allows you to turn the feature on from sunset to sunrise, or you can customise the exact timing.

Other additions include the latest 1 January 2017 Google security patches, a new version of the Xperia Home launcher (10.2.A.1.18) and bug fixes for the noise cancelling feature and fingerprint test in the service menu. Sony says that there should also be better network handling. The latest version is currently live for all those in the Xperia Concept running the Experimental track.
