Xperia XZs Dual hits pre-order in USA; launches on 5 April

We can confirm that Sony Mobile is set to launch the dual SIM variant of the Xperia XZs (G8232) into the United States, as the handset has just hit pre-order through Amazon.com for $699.00. The Xperia XZs is available to purchase in three colours (Black, Warm Silver, Ice Blue) and will be released on 5 April. We have included links to each colour below.

This is the first time that Sony has officially launched a dual SIM variant into the USA, it means that users will get internal storage of 64GB (versus 32GB in the single SIM model). However, Sony uses a hybrid SIM tray for the Xperia XZs, which means that if you do decide to use two SIMs, you cannot also use a microSD memory card at the same time. This is why Sony advertises the phone as “dual SIM with 64GB onboard memory or single SIM with up to 256GB expandable with MicroSD card”.

The handset bands will be compatible with GSM carriers such as AT&T and T-Mobile. Do let us know if you plan to stick an Xperia XZs pre-order in the comments below. If not, let us know what is holding you back.
