in Rumours, Xperia XZ series

The clearest in-the-wild pictures of the Xperia XZ1 have leaked, showing Sony’s latest flagship from most angles. If you were hoping for a big departure in terms of design, then you will be disappointed, as the handset looks like a smaller version of the Xperia XZ Premium. The leak confirms the side mounted power button fingerprint sensor and a new placement for NFC (next to the rear camera sensors).

Other specs confirmed by the marketing sticker on the front device point to a Snapdragon 835 chipset, 64GB internal storage, IP65 and IP68 dust and water resistance and a 5.2-inch HDR-enabled display. The camera will the same as the Xperia XZ Premium, with a 19MP Motion Eye camera with 960 frames per second slow motion video and a 13MP front-facing camera. We’ll bring you more information at the official unveil on 31 August at IFA 2017.
