Sony Mobile Japan confirmed earlier today that the Xperia XZ Premium will receive the firmware update to Android 8.0 Oreo from December 2017. Up until now there’s been no indication of timeline for when we can expect some of Sony’s Xperia models to receive the Oreo update. It’s worth noting that while Japan won’t see the update until December, there is a good chance that the rest of the world may get the update earlier. We’ll keep you posted as soon as we have any firm news.
