Sony has published the official pricing of the Xperia 1 II on its German website, giving the first indication of pricing for mainland Europe. The handset is listed at €1,199, with one retailer – mobilcom-debitel.de – already taking pre-orders. The retailer suggests that Sony’s latest flagship will launch from Week 25, which is mid-June 2020.
A pre-order promotion for Germany was also listed, with pre-orders entitled to a free pair of Sony WH-1000XM3 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones. This was for orders up until 7 June 2020. However, the promotion now appears to be removed, so either it was in error or it was put up too early (you can see the promo image below).
Sony Poland also has the Xperia 1 II on pre-sale for PLN 5,299 Polish Zloty, with both Black and Purple colours available. If you pre-order between now and 14 June 2020 you will be entitled to a free pair of Sony WF-1000XM3 Wireless Noise Cancelling earbuds. We would expect other European markets to open pre-orders and their own promotions very shortly.
This news follows the official US launch, which will be priced at $1199.99 and launch on 24 July 2020. US pre-orders are entitled to free Sony WF-1000XM3 Wireless Noise Cancelling earbuds.
German pre-orders are now open for the Xperia 1 II
