Born in the Marches in Herefordshire and spent my childhood in the sleepy town of Kington, just on the border too Wales.
I didn't follow the crowd and being a Capricorn I stood by my guns and was interested from an early age in comic books, sci fi, martial arts and mythology. I'd like to think I have a strong sense of right and wrong, always being as honorable and gentlemanly at all times. Though add into the mix a large amount of sarcasm and puerile madness and you basically have a 29 year old scientist, going on 15. I would like to think that I have an open mind to the world, however being a scientist also means that I also like a certain amount of fact. I am not religious but have an appreciation for religions and philosophies, particularly those that have roots in metaphysics and mathematics.
I've had a number of jobs part time, in particular working for Games Workshop when I was an undergraduate at UMIST in Manchester. Having finished undergraduate studies I studied for my PhD in computational chemistry at the University of Manchester. I was a Postdoctoral researcher in computational chemistry at the University of Warwick, and now work at the Ruhr Universitat Bochum, and as a consequence live in the lovely town of Steipel. I also like writing and being a Storyteller for role play games, mainly those by White Wolf, but also Etherscope and WHRP. I have also dabbled in script writing, short stories and free lance writing for a sci fi roleplay game.
I am now married to the love of my life, Sam, without whom life would not be as exciting and wonderful.Interact
