CyanogenMod 10 Alpha now available on 2011 Xperia handsets

For those that don’t know, the CyanogenMod 10 Alpha was released for the 2011 Sony Xperia handsets recently. We had already seen CM10 pop up for the Xperia S, but was waiting for some Jelly Bean action on the 2011 handsets. These are alpha releases so therefore they are not recommended to be used for daily use, however feel free to give it a try to see how well fast Jelly Bean will perform on your Xperia device. My Orange firmware xperia S has an update being installed right now… I wonder what it is

orange firmware upgrade is “6.1.a.0.454″ and is a major looking upgrade with a reboot that says optimising with a xxx/182 counter… ooh there are new icons like “walkman” and settings says…4.0.4 build .1.a.0.454 ics is out on orange firware at last!
