this tablet is the most beatiful yet powerful that i’ve ever know yet!

  • price in asia?

  • electrash

Stupid sony.. 500usd for 16gb, in eu 500eur…500 eur is a way much more then usd.

  • Where did u get the prices? Uff.. It is very steep pricing for the LTE..

  • pikacuuu

will i be able to preorder in slovenia? :D

  • Peter Sharpe

Euro includes Tax. US tax is added on after retail price, so they’ll end up being around the same

  • Is that all, Sony? For this year’s MWC??
Where are your mid and low end smartphones? :(

  • Ginge

I was expecting more phones….. I waited for this day and theres nothing

  • xperiax10.awesome

    No LTE for U.S. ???

  • von

Sony has said that will focus more on the high end market for optimum user experience. Now, if you want cheap Sony phones then you have to settle with last years high end basically.

  • didn’t ya had enough last year?

  • FlowXT

Considering you can now have the Xperia P or even the S for the price of a low end or mid end smartphone, and those will soon be updates to JB, I don’t understand what more you could want.

  • jjghj

Dam! They look sexy together. No other phone and tablet looks as good side by side, different shapes and what not, but Sony did it right!

  • FlowXT

People who want a smaller version of the Z can always get the V, the rumored HuaShan didn’t excite me one bit especially when its not even waterproof and has an inferior camera.

  • samuraiScanners

Q2? Why not sooner? Tablet S with 1280×800 is not for everyone in 2013.

Note that some Tegra 4 tablets might release in Q2, even before this one with Snapdragon S4

I have a question which I’m not sure if anyone knows the answer, but will there be a purple one to match the phone? The black and white have already been seen and it would be nice if they did make a purple tablet. I know a lot of people don’t like purple so it might never happen, but it would be really cool IMO.

  • What I really meant is I want to see the Xperia L, the low end smartphone with a pretty decent specs.

  • I just don’t like the design..

  • Sadly yes. Maybe I will stick with my old XMP and wait a little longer.

  • The Battery is way underpowered for such a device. Should be at least 8000-10000mAh

Anyone know if Sony is sticking to the proprietary “hub” for USB / mini-HDMI like they have in the Xperia Tablet S?? I’m hoping they have moved to the standard ports.

  • jag

Hmm.. I never thought of that. Good idea! ^^

I want a purple one too but it’s looking extremely doubtful.
It looks like some markets won’t even get the white Tablet Z.

The bar on the top of home screen is horrible, really horrible. Install Nova Launcher and look how a good homescreen should looks like.
