The first picture sample from Sony’s upcoming ‘Honami’ flagship has appeared on Picasa. The raw sample from the HSPA+ version of the handset (C6902) is not available to download from the site, however the EXIF data confirms a number of rumoured specs.
The photo captured has a resolution of 5248 x 3936 pixels, or 20.66MP altogether (rumours pointed to a 20.7MP camera sensor). The photo has a 4:3 aspect ratio and f/2.0 aperture. The firmware running on the device was 14.1.G.1.443_9_b600.
The picture was taken by a gentleman named Taylor Li, who is a Sr. Manager at Sony Ericsson Taiwan, judging by his out of date Linkedin profile. Therefore it looks like this is the real deal, rather than being faked. We look forward to more details as we approach the official launch of Honami on 4 September at IFA in Berlin.
