Xperia M Dual_15.2.A.2.5A new firmware update has been released for the Sony Xperia M dual (C200X) with build version 15.2.A.2.5, this compares to current build version 15.2.A.1.12. The new 15.2.A.2.X update should bring some enhancements over the previous 15.2.A.1.XX build, but with no changelog currently present we can only guess what these might be. We are still hopeful that the Android 4.2.2 update will shortly make its way to Xperia M (C190X) owners soon. If you’ve downloaded the update please let us know your thoughts below.

Why is the M Dual on 4.2.2 & the M on 4.1.2? The M is the preferred phone (western / international)?

Have tried multiple times, by phone & PC-comapanion, still it appears: “You have latest Software version” or “Your device is up to date”…
I have problem that overheating my device with normal use.

But customer support says: you need to ignore such massege and click to “repair phone”…
By doing this, should I get latest update… doubtful!!!!

After long waiting, I’v got my Xperia M dual updated. And the main problem of overheating the device, is solved now(it was the big problem of my device), many features have checked(playing games & HD videos upto for an hour), and running smoothly. But I noticed some problems using updated firmware(15.2.A.2.5), which is when I make call, that persons photo is getting distorted when the device asking for SIM 1/SIM 2; after selection of SIM, its showing correct pic of that person! Call records list are changed after update…, still “Sony Select” isn’t working!
Hope no more issues with this firmware.
Overall its fine & running very smoothly….

For Xperia M, its not possible to move any app to SD card, as it does not support that feature…. Hope its possible after rooting the device…

Does anyone having fast battery draining issue since this firmware update? please mention & if there any solution then do share.

  • Shantanu Mukhopadhyay

Before rolling out 4.3 for Xperia M (Dual) please note the following bugs/suggestions & fix

    1. Fix the fast battery draining problem since last firmware update (15.2.A.2.5)

    2. Back camera performance improvement as it’s just not up to the mark of a 5MP camera.

    3. Increase the walkman volume as Sony used to be a brand name for it’s sound quality.

    4. Improve battery performance for longer power backup.

    5. Option to move apps to the memory card.

  • Pratik Solanki

move to sd card possible pls rply
