Android Marshmallow_MOB30M.Z1.3633_3Sony Mobile has updated the Concept for Android Marshmallow for Xperia Z3 devices to build number MOB30M.Z1.3633. This latest release includes a new Sony Low Battery Mode, which replaces Google’s Battery saver. The mode allows you to turn off certain features of the handset once the battery charge goes below a certain level (20%).

Other additions include a new Home Launcher (10.0.A.0.64), which fixes some crash issues and a new version of the inTouch reporting tool (1.7.6), with mostly back-end improvements. This latest firmware also includes the latest Google 1 July 2016 security updates, camera bug fixes (improved video recording) and Wi-Fi fixes (will now connect to a known router even if screen is off). This build will hit all Xperia Concept users over the next few days.

This version has the option to set the SD card as part of the internal memory, right?

Too bad the Concept firmware uses the old Experience Flow Live Wallpapers of the Z3 launcher.

  • Mak Cau Theng

    Yes it does.

  • Joonwoo Park

So does it replace the name of “New” Stamina mode?

  • How did u get the new one? I tried to install apk from xda, but it doesn’t work

  • Would you recommend to switch to Concept firmware? And besides, is there any region restriction?

  • Hardik Haveliwala

Hey, please update camera 2.0.0 version, now in xperia z3 has camera version is 1.0.B.0.33. and also update stamina mode..

  • Razuberyl

Which one I should get? Z5 or XP?

  • you are very informative post. Looking forward to new posts.

  • I’ve been wondering, how do you suppose this unofficial Xperia blog website that is not related to Sony in any way (besides being fans of Xperia) can “update camera”?

  • Stergios Papoutsoglou

I went with z5p, it’s cheaper and it has more features, only negative is the older SOC

  • Dante the great

Wait for IFA. That’s what I’m doing. But if you have to pick one, I’d recommend the Z5 series over the X series for now.

Only drawback of the Z5 is the horrible heating issues, though they are somewhat reduced thanks to the latest firmware – but if you are a heavy mobile gamer, beware!

XP is a total rip off at the current price, I’d rather buy a Z3 over it right now.
