Xperia arc sample photos

Xperia arc photo Phone Arena has released a preview of the Sony Ericsson Xperia arc, which follows GSM Arena’s preview a few days ago. It’s well worth a read if you’re interested in the handset and they came away pretty impressed mainly due to its good looks, an “outstanding” loudspeaker, good in-call volume and a quality 8MP camera with Exmor R sensor.

They have posted a number of photo samples for you to have a look at. Detail and colour representation were accurate, but they did notice some noise suppression in low light conditions. However, this is likely to be worked on until the phone is released. The LED flash was also good for shooting objects up to around 10 feet. SE-First also has a number of sample photos under different lighting conditions. They found that daylight pictures had too much of a red bias. Strangely the file sizes at 8MP resolution were two to three times smaller than similar shots using the Xperia X10. You can check out their photos here.
