Sony has just unveiled the Xperia V (LT25i) at IFA 2012 and it was the best-kept secret out of all of the devices announced today, having seen very few leaks in terms of specs and design. The Sony Xperia V sports a 4.3-inch (720 x 1280) display and will run the Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 chipset (1.5Ghz dual-core and Adreno 225 GPU). It has 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory (1.2 GB of firmware, 2 GB of phone memory and 3.7 GB for media) with microSD memory card support.

It will come with a 13MP Exmor R camera capable of shooting 1080p video and a VGA front camera. This particular version (LT25i) will have LTE, but we understand that a HSPA+ version (LT25h) will also appear at some point. Other features include a removable 1750mAh battery, micro-sim, NFC, MHL and PlayStation Certification. The handset will come in black, white and pink colours. It weighs just 120g and has reasonably svelte dimensions (129 x 65 x 10.7 mm). The handset will launch globally in calendar Q4 2012.
