The Xperia go, known as the Xperia advance in the United States, is finally on sale in the market four months after being released in Europe. The water and dust resistant handset will be available sim-free at a number of retailers such as NewEgg. Interestingly the most desirable colour for the handset, yellow, is the cheapest at Newegg at $250. White will set you back $260 and the black version is $100 more expensive at $350.

The Xperia advance has a 3.5-inch (320 x 480) scratch-resistant mineral glass display capable of wet finger tracking. It is armed with a 1GHz dual-core ST-Ericsson NovaThor chipset, 512MB RAM, 8GB of internal storage (4GB user accessible) and a microSD memory card slot. Other features include a 1305mAh embedded battery and 5MP camera capable of 720p video recording. The handset supports the following HSPA bands: 850, 1900, 2100. So those on T-Mobile won’t get 3G speeds unfortunately.
