Good news, it’s less than a week to go now before we see Sony unveil its new flagship smartphone at IFA in Berlin. The C690X ‘Honami’ has been eagerly awaited and looks to build on the Xperia Z in terms of specs. A few more pics of the phone have popped up on a Chinese site that are much clearer than any we’ve seen to date.
This looks like a dummy model to us, especially with the ‘Xperia Z1 L39h’ on the front screen. However, it is sure to be a good representation of the final article. Unlike the recent Sony teasers, the back of the phone has the camera specs etched along with the G Lens branding. This includes the 1/2.3-inch chip and 20.7MP resolution – it’s not clear whether retail models will exclude these specs or whether Sony omitted them from its teaser to hold some information back for the full reveal next week.
