Sony Mobile Taiwan is due to hold a launch event for the Xperia Z1 Compact on the 6 February 2014. This is expected to be followed up by retail availability of all four colours (black, white, pink and lime) on 7 February. The suggested retail price will be NT$15,380 (£306, €370, $507), pointing to one of the cheapest prices yet seen for Sony’s diminutive, but super-powered handset.
