Sony and Garmin are set to announce a new navigation app designed for the SmartWatch 2 according to Pocket-Lint. Smartwatches are ideally suited to providing navigation directions and up until now the SmartWatch 2 has lacked a decent navigation app.
The report says that the new application will enable pedestrian navigation and is set to be announced ahead of MWC 2014 i.e. any time now. The partnership will see the app preinstalled on all new SmartWatch 2’s sold going forward.
