Serial leakster @evleaks is claiming the Xperia T2 Ultra is heading to T-Mobile in the United States. It is interesting that we hear rumours of a mid-range phablet hitting the US, before Sony’s flagship Xperia Z2.
We already know that Sony was planning a North American SKU of the Xperia T2 Ultra with model number D5306 supporting LTE bands 2, 4, 7, 17 – compatible with both AT&T and T-Mobile. However, carrier destination remained unclear until now. The Xperia T2 Ultra is expected to go on sale during April 2014 in Asia and Europe, we’ll keep you posted on any US release dates.
The Xperia T2 Ultra has a 6-inch 720p IPS display, 13MP camera and 1.4 GHz Qualcomm MSM8928 Quad Core chipset with Adreno 305 graphics. Other specs include 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage (4.8GB usable), 1.1MP front-facing camera and a 3000mAh battery.
