Google has knocked over 30% off the price of the Sony Z Ultra Google Play edition, moving the price of the handset from $649 to $449, with free shipping in the US. The $200 price cut perhaps shows that the handset has not sold as well, the 6.4-inch display size no doubt putting some off due to sheer size. There’s nothing to suggest that this is a limited promotion, it looks like this is the new price of the Sony Z Ultra going forward, a great price for those that may have been interested in the handset.
