The Sony Xperia L is officially still stuck on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, despite even the cheaper Xperia M seeing an Android 4.3 Jelly Bean release. If any Xperia L owners are getting frustrated waiting to hear about any official further updates from Sony, you may be glad to hear that an unofficial port of CyanogenMod 11 (Android 4.4.2) has hit the Xperia L (C2104, C2105).
The CM11 port comes courtesy of XDA member varun.chitre15 and the FreeXperia team. Most features appear to be working apart from some issues with the GPS. If you want to give it a try you will need a handset with an unlocked bootloader and a working recovery. Full details can be found in the source link below.
