New firmware (14.3.A.0.769) certified for Xperia Z1, Z Ultra and Z1 Compact

A new firmware update with build number 14.3.A.0.769 is heading to the Xperia Z1, Xperia Z Ultra and Xperia Z1 Compact handsets according to the PTCRB website. The last firmware to be released, albeit only in selected markets such as China and SFR France, had build number 14.3.A.0.761.

So for most owners, this will be the first update since build number 14.3.A.0.757. Interestingly, only the European/Asian LTE models have been certified , so this could end up being another specific region/carrier update. We’ll keep you posted.
