The Sony Xperia ZL2 (SOL25) has today gone on sale in Japan through au by KDDI. The handset is being sold for 79,920 Yen (£466, €575, $785). The Xperia ZL2 is similar to the Xperia Z2 in terms of specs but comes with a smaller 5.0-inch 1080p display, 3000mAh battery and 32GB of internal storage. It is also thicker and heavier than the Xperia Z2.
The Xperia Z2 (SO-03F) for NTT DoCoMo went on sale earlier in the week for 85,320 Yen (£497, €614, $838). This model is the same as the international version, but includes 32GB of internal storage as opposed to 16GB.
