Sony Mobile has released an Audio Recorder application, which has been designed for the Stereo Microphone STM10 (compatible with the Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z2 Tablet). We have seen the app before as the apk was leaked back in April, but this is the first time it has hit the Google Play Store. The build in the Play Store is version number 1.00.13.
The app allows you to record and playback audio on your Xperia device running Android 4.1 or later. You can choose to record in stereo or mono and various compression levels are available including lossless (WAV 1411kbps), compressed (AAC 256kbps), standard (AAC 128kbps) and basic (AAC 64kbps). Overall, it is a clean and simple to use audio recorder and it even supports the SmartWatch 2.
