The Android KitKat firmware update for the Xperia E1 and Xperia E1 Dual started to roll earlier today and it looks like the Xperia M2 won’t be too far behind. What looks like the KitKat software builds have been certified by the PTCRB for the Xperia M2 and Xperia M2 Dual.
Different software versions have been certified for the different variants. The Xperia M2 D2303 and D2306 variants have seen build number 18.3.C.0.37 certified, whilst the D2305 variant has seen build number 18.3.A.0.31 certified. The dual-SIM enabled Xperia M2 Dual (D2302, S50h) has seen build number 18.3.B.0.31 certified. We’ll bring you news once the update starts to roll.
