Last week we saw the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update roll for the Xperia T2 Ultra in the form of build number 19.1.1.A.0.165. At the same time, we didn’t get a chance to report on the Android 4.4.3 update hitting the Xperia T2 Ultra Dual with build number 19.1.1.C.0.56. Users who have updated to the latest firmware are reporting slightly better battery life.
We still find it strange that Sony decided to only update the Android build to version 4.4.3 rather than 4.4.4, especially since the ground work was already done with the Xperia Z series. Perhaps, Sony didn’t want Xperia Z2 owners to feel too upset, since they are still stuck on Android 4.4.2.
