Sony “Lavender” (E55XX) front panel leaks

Twitter used @upleaks has shown off the alleged front panel of the Sony “Lavender” which is believed to have model number E55XX (E5503, E5563). The handset was previously rumoured to sport a 1080p display and MediaTek MT6752 (64-bit octa-core LTE) chipset.

The picture appears to show a device with large front-facing camera and LED flash too (much like the Xperia C4). Slots on the top and bottom could highlight stereo speakers, much like the Xperia Z2. The bezels also look quite thin, but the image itself looks like it has been edited to a certain extent so it’s difficult to tell for sure. We’ll bring you further details as we have it.

Update: Further specs have been leaked by @upleaks which include the fact it will have a 13MP rear camera using the Sony IMX214 sensor, 2GB RAM, a bigger display size than the Xperia C4 which is 5.5-inches and dual SIM support.
