The start of a new year always brings promise and excitement about what may be in store for us in the months ahead. CES, one of the largest technology tradeshows, takes place in Las Vegas this week with all of the major manufacturers unveiling their new consumer electronic portfolios for the year ahead as well as exciting prototypes of future tech. Sony will be there, of course, but we do not expect any significant mobile news at this time.
Anyway, it’s an ideal time to speculate what delights Sony Mobile has in store for us with its future Xperia devices. If you could dictate the product planning at Sony Mobile, what new hardware features would you like to see baked in? Is Force Touch high on the agenda or perhaps the use of OLED displays? How about a secondary screen as seen in the LG V10? Or maybe you would like to see camera improvements such as optical image stabilisation (OIS)? Or maybe you want more RAM (Huawei are rumoured to announce the P9 at CES with 6GB RAM)? Let’s hear it – you’ve got a blank canvas, what would you like to see in the 2016 Xperia?
