Album app update (7.4.A.1.22) adds Google Cast support, quick rotate options and more

Sony Mobile has updated its official Album application (7.4.A.1.22) to support Google Cast. This means you can cast still pictures to your TV screen – you can also choose whether you want to cast your original or compressed pictures.

Sony has also introduced a trouble-shooting feature called Album Assistance. Clicking onto this option within the settings helps fix any errors with photos and videos – particularly if you are seeing errors or if your content is not found. The other main feature is quick access to rotate right/left/180 degrees options found within the rotate option. The new update is rolling via the Google Play Store or you can download the APK below.
